Financial Reporting Accountant

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join a national company with offices based in the heart of Basingstoke.

This varied role will be required to provide the accurate controls and reporting of finance, working with other internal departments to improve reporting processes and effectiveness of reporting performance.

Additional duties of the role include;

• Manage the month end close activities such as journals, accruals and prepayments
• Review balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash flow forecasting
• Provide financial analysis and insightful commentary of variances
• Be a point of contact for external auditors
• Ensure the accuracy of accounting entries

The successful candidate will be a newly qualified or finalist level accountant (ACA/ ACCA or CIMA) with strong attention to detail and a desire to work within a dynamic , fast paced organisation. It is essential to have excellent interpersonal skills as well as be highly motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
