An excellent opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join an academy in the York area. This role would suit finance candidates studying towards their AAT, looking to develop their all-round accounts experience further.

Page Personnel are recruiting on behalf of an academy in the York area for a Finance Assistant. This role will be working alongside an established finance department and head office support team.

Description

Duties of the role include:

• Processing invoices
• Processing BAC's and cheque payments
• Supporting with month end close down
• Processing journals
• Raising sales invoices
• Montioring outstanding debt and aged creditors
• Supporting the wider finance department

Profile

Candidates wishing to apply to this role should:

• Be studying towards or qualified in AAT
• Have previously worked in a finance based role
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have a proactive attitude to work
• Be able to work well within a team

Job Offer

The successful candidate will receive a salary within £17,000 - £20,000 + York area + study support package + excellent pension scheme and annual leave allowance + free parking.
