Job Details

Project Manager required for this rapidly expanding business, you are responsible for the successful delivery and installations of refrigeration Cases/Cabinets into major food retailers across the country.

The Role:

Undertake the management and delivery of refrigeration case installations.

Maintain contact with all disciplines throughout the process. From Manufacturing to Site PC & Handover.

Coordinate, Project Logistics, Labour resource across disciplines, certifications and approvals.

Capture and overcome customer and site-specific requirements. Undertake and manage all system-wide responsibilities both internal company programmes and external customer programmes. Provides direction for the business component or an entire project and/or project team.

Exercises significant latitude in determining methods and objectives of assignment. Supervise groups of staff and/or subcontractor members as appropriate. Have complete and thorough knowledge of the refrigeration discipline and frequently contributes to the development and direction of the business.

Expected to mentor and transfer knowledge to more junior staff members. Works on multifaceted problems that always require new and creative thinking. Able to exercise recommendations. Acts in a leadership role as a principal customer contact and/or interface with Senior Company Management. Execution of decisions and/or recommendations expected to have a significant impact on organisational objectives.

Liaise with main contractor & refrigeration contractor representatives to achieve site programme dates.

Generating and issuing scopes, HSE packs and another necessary project material.

Nationwide travel and out of hours working at times to support projects. Able to work under own initiative

Hold close partnership with appropriate resources throughout the project cycle is expected in order to: Identify installation and company/group obstacles that need to be overcome.

Define the project scopes and establish correct levels of resource.

The Person:

Project Management Experience within Cabinetry/Case installations

Dealt with/client facing experience with the large Supermarkets/Food Retailers

Strong willed.

Happy with the sometimes unsociable hours.

Must drive as the role can often be National.
