Group Content & SEO Manager

We're looking for a deadline driven, highly organised and creative Content &SEO Manager to join our team. You'll juggle multiple SEO and Content projects at once, creating and implementing strategies to boost our rankings, engage our audience and make us famous.
With excellent influencing and negotiation skills, you'll work alongside other teams in the business to define and deliver an SEO and Content Strategy for our group of businesses.
You'll also be proficient in writing (and passionate about) blog content and content design, with a focus on ensuring they're absolutely SEO friendly.
We need someone with experience of a target driven environment, and can hit the ground running in this exciting role.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Marketing is a growing area of our business, and we're passionate about filling it with dedicated people. We've got a group of diverse and exciting businesses, each one with its own unique audience and messaging.
In this fast paced role, you'll be defining strategy, working alongside social media, creative and strategic teams, to develop engaging business as usual content, alongside powerful campaigns to bring our brands to life.
On a typical day, you might be:
Creating, curating and managing the content across our digital properties.
·Supporting the Head of Brand & Marketing to build our SEO and Content Strategy and KPI's delivering against a group wide marketing plan and strategy.
·Take the lead in effectively improving our positions on Google through combining SEO best practice with engaging, user centred, and data driven content.
·Applying content design, accessibility, E-A-T and UX principles to all content
·Regular keyword research and content mapping
·Taking ownership for planning future content across the group
·Uploading content to our group sites via Wordpress CMS (including sourcing appropriate imagery)
·Working alongside our Social Media Manager to unify content distribution and wider digital comms messaging.
·Helping to shape and execute through-the-line cross-channel campaigns (from content to social)
·Regular monthly reporting to demonstrate content effectiveness, as well as social and organic search performance. Evaluating and identifying opportunities or issues (including search engine algorithm updates)
·Regular technical audits for both content and SEO
·Experience of link audits and content architecture
·Helping to maintain our digital property's health, for example: taking legacy content and refining, lengthening and optimising it
·Creating and delivering a link building and outreach strategy
·Ensuring our content is compliant with regulations
·Drive commercial objectives through content, increasing web traffic and conversion
·Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders across the business to source and generate relevant and valuable content, and get it delivered.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for a true content whizz. You need to be passionate about what we're talking about, and get other people excited about it too. You're not here to churn out content for the sake of it. Or mindlessly tinker with keywords that won't make a difference.
We need someone who's excited about the possibilities content and SEO can bring to a business like ours, and with the drive and determination to see that excitement through to results.
·You will be in a content focused role (client or agency side), looking for a new challenge
·Proven experience in content strategy and managing a content schedule
·Experienced and capable of devising, writing and creating top quality content.
·An understanding of social platforms
·Analytical with a high level of experience in reporting and analysis for SEO and content
·Proven experience of SEO, including keyword research, website audits, link building and 'on-page' improvements
·A proven track record of driving growth in SEO
And it's not just words you need to be great with either, you need to be creative and have a "get s**t done" attitude.
