I am recruiting a unique and truly exciting Charity Finance Director role for a client based on the South Coast. Reporting into a corporate Finance Director, this is a broad role that will see the successful candidate provide the SLT with a strategic overview of the financial management and governance of three individual charitable initiatives as they expand their efforts worldwide.
The successful candidate will be qualified with significant post-qualified experience of both management and financial accounting in the charity space. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of charity policies, fundraising methods and operational challenges that such an organisation is likely to face.
Candidates must feel as comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting into the detail as they do supporting or challenging the board when it comes to key decision making. They will manage a small team of high-performing individuals and be tasked with continuing to develop them and their careers.
They are based close to Bournemouth although are working from home at present. It is expected that staff will be largely office-based (given the hands on nature of the role) once government restrictions are eased but a degree of flexibility will be offered.
