Daventry Intervention Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant required to provide interventions in a mainstream primary school
Job title: Intervention TA
Working hours: Full time 08.30 - 15.30
Start: January 2021
Your new school
A mainstream primary schools situates in Daventry are looking for a Teaching Assistant to provide interventions in Key Stage 1 and 2.
Your new role
You will be taking instruction from the class teacher and supporting groups of children in KS1 and KS2 providing interventions in Maths and English, knowledge n Phonics would be great.
You will need sound knowledge of the curriculum, be able to take and follow instruction but to also manage your own time effectively, you will also have to differentiate the work to cater for individual needs so they can understand. You will need to be flexible, patient and understanding.
This role would be ideal for an experienced TA or an NQT who would like experience before gaining a role where you will be solely responsible for a class, or for any NQT who is starting a role in September 2021 this would be really good experience for you.
What you'll need to succeed
KS1 & KS2 curriculum knowledge
Previous experience in a similar role.
Proven experience of teaching interventions
Experienced TA or NQT
