The Role

The Campus App Marketing Manager will drive sign ups of and engagement with the campus app amongst those working, dining and shopping at Broadgate. The holder will also use data and customer insight to form a bridge between user / customer expectation and technical delivery to ensure the app delivers a positive experience for users.

Key Responsibilities

Launches and Awareness

  • Craft compelling messaging to highlight the benefits of the app across all marketing channels
  • Develop marketing strategies and plans to support the launch and ongoing awareness of the app
  • Deliver launch events and activities when required

Ongoing Engagement
  • Create a content structure that ensures content is easy to find and that it meets the needs of users by covering all necessary topics, being up to date and accurate
  • Coordinate, commission and project manage content, overseeing the work of external writers and internal departments
  • Produce content schedules and audits, which writers and editors use to keep copy up to date and to create new content at appropriate times.
  • Engage retailers to provide exclusive content and special offers for app users, as well as ensuring they are able to use the vendor management systesm
  • Create and edit engaging content, targeting specific groups when appropriate
  • Be an expert in the app's content management system (CMS), producing user guides and delivering training for those that will update the app directly
  • Ensure that the leasing team and wider business is fully engaged throughout the process of any changes and developments of the app

Data / User Input and Feedback
  • Provide complete performance reporting and analysis on performance of app
  • Use analysis and market research to ensure that the app's content is suitable for the audience
  • Use data and user feedback to improve the experience that customers have with the app by making recommendations and prioritizing functional development to deliver greater adoption rates
  • Evaluate new app features against set kpis when they are launched

General Marketing
  • Budgets: Support in the development of annual marketing budgets
  • Stakeholder liaison: Manage and proactively communicate with all stakeholders - asset managers, sustainability team, property managers, managing agents, retailers and other third parties, e.g. Marketing agencies
  • Customers Insights: Work closely with customer insights team to ensure all plans for the app respond to feedback from the target customer groups
  • Projects: To take responsibility for across marketing projects and lead projects as required
  • Procurement: work closely with the procurement team to ensure all agencies are aligned to the agency roster and meet contractual obligations

Required Skills

  • Understanding of Digital and wider marketing channels
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Knowledge of online user experience, digital marketing techniques and digital analytics
  • Customer focused, using data and analytics to deliver to customer requirements and feedback
  • Innovative thinker, using market change, competitor and comparator insights to promote change
  • Budget management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to work on own and as part of a diverse team
