Are you a qualified teacher looking for a role that fits around your home life? Do you want to explore a range of schools to discover which is the right fit for you? Have you got experience working within a secondary environment? I'm looking for a tutor to work online and potentially in schools tutoring students on a 1:1 basis, in the Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk area. If this role interests you then please keep reading!

This role will involve supporting children on a 1:1 and 1:3 basis to raise their attainment in Maths and/or Science. The ideal candidate will have previous tutoring experience with children aged 11 - 16. The role is on a temporary basis and can be full time or part time. Experienced TA's with tutoring experience will also be considered. Even if you only have an hour to spare a day, you will be considered.

Key responsibilities:
  • Keeping up-to-date records of students progression and learning
  • Supporting children to raise their attainment in Maths and/or Science
  • Keeping in touch with their Teacher with the students progress

Essential:

2 references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference) Experience working with children

Desired:
  • An up-to-date DBS on the update service
