Are you a Web Analytics Manager looking for a broader role where you will not only champion web analytics but also impact your company's business strategy? This is an opportunity for someone with strong hands-on experience in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), A/B testing, and SQL, to join one of the fast growing, most successful eCommerce retailers in the U.K.

The Company

A retail giant who have invested hugely in digital and are building out a Web Analytics team. The Senior Web Analyst will be fundamental to the future growth of the online business.

The Role

Data and analytics are becoming more and more centralised into every business decision being made, this is a crucial hire for the business. You will be responsible for crafting the digital experience and interpreting data for a large variety of audiences. You'll be working hands on with the latest Google Analytics (GA/GA360) suite to deliver insight on how to optimize landing pages, and analysing which creative content is performing best on site and in ads. This is a broad and diverse role that will also focus on defining KPIs, evaluating how they can grow by way of traffic and conversions, and forecasting what new audiences will look like.

In particular, you can expect to:
  • Turn complex data sets into actionable insights using Google Analytics/GA/GA360
  • Analyse site and digital campaign data, to evaluate how the business can drive traffic and conversion
  • Work cross functionally across all departments
  • Carry out A/B and multivariate testing for optimum improvements
  • Evaluate current online behaviour and use data for planning and forecasting
  • Carry out user journey tracking
  • Tell the story behind the data to influence the wider eCommerce strategy

Your Skills and Experience
  • Hands-on, commercial experience in web/eCommerce analytics in either an agency or client side
  • Extensive experience in A/B testing
  • Working experience with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, experience in SQL
  • Deep knowledge of cross-channel digital marketing campaigns


The successful candidate will secure a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 and benefits depending on experience
