Are you a behaviour support worker who is looking for a new challenge in January 2021?

Perhaps you've been working with pupils with particularly challenging behaviour and you'd like to move this experience into mainstream schools?

Could you commit to a long term placement for up to one year, working within a large secondary school in Brighton, East Sussex?

Prospero Teaching in are working with a specialist school in Brighton, East Sussex who are keen to appoint a behaviour support worker on a full time basis from January 2021.

Supply Teacher Contract/Position Details

Location - Brighton, East Sussex

Position - Support Workers SEN

Type of work - Class assistant, supporting pupils with learning and behavioural needs

Start date - January

Likely Duration - ongoing supply cover

Position end date - N/A

Contract type - Temporary

Full-time potential

Minimum rate of pay - £70 Per day

Hours - 8:20am-4pm (term time only)

Supply Experience, Training and Qualifications

You must have at least 6 weeks experience working with children and young people. Experience with some SEN is desirable.

Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.

Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

Provide two professional child related references.
