Job Details
Our client is a prestigious operating company that owns and manages a substantial and expanding facility spread across half a square mile. The operation includes ongoing maintenance and installation projects in the M&E building services sector.
They are currently seeking an electrically biased project manager to oversee facilities management, small works and installation projects undertaken by framework contractors. These could vary from small maintenance projects to large scale M&E refurbishments.
This position would suit an engineer who started out as an electrical tradesman and has worked their way up to project management level, gaining qualifications along the way, including SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
You will be co-ordinating projects and reporting to the site management team on progress and efficiency of framework contractors, so good verbal and written communication skills are vital. The ability to build relationships and partnerships with contractors is also an important path to success.
You will receive full support from the site management team and will be provided with ongoing training with regards to building on your existing knowledge of CDM's and RAMS that you have gained in previous employment.
This is an interesting and varied role in a secure environment with genuine opportunities for career advancement and ongoing training and development. The package includes a good pension scheme, bonus and overtime.
