EXPERIENCED SENIOR CONTROLS ENGINEER / ELECTRICAL ENGINEER / SENIOR C&I ENGINEER REQUIRED TO WORK FOR A KEY PLAYER IN THE POWER GENERATOR SECTOR.
TITLE: Senior Controls Instrumentation Engineer- Power Generation
CLIENT: My client are currently revolutionising the Power Generation industry and enjoying great success in this field. I am now recruiting on their behalf for a Senior Controls Instrumentation Engineer with heavy industry experience to join their team.
SALARY AND PACKAGE: £50-60k plus a range of benefits including Company vehicle or allowance, Pension, Childcare Vouchers and more!

Previous Titles: Controls Engineer / EC&I Engineer / Instrumentation Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Technician / C&I Technician / Instrumentation Technician / Control Technician / EC&I Technician / Electrical Engineer / Electrical Technician
ROLE: Senior Controls Instrumentation Engineer- Power Generation
As a Senior Controls Engineer you will manage and plan your own diary for maintenance work for Electrical and Instrument repair across the South East
Maintain DCS system
Investigate Electrical Control & Instrumentation faults.
Manage on-site contractors where appropriate
Work on planned outages and manage shutdown work
Assist the engineering manager in planning and controlling site maintenance budgets.
You will be responsible for fault finding and routine inspections of plant using internal systems, wiring diagrams etc.
You will work on site with PLC's, SCADA and DCS.
You will follow a planned maintenance schedule and be responsible for regular maintenance of plant on site; focusing on safety critical equipment.
Experience: Controls Engineer- Power Generation
You will be an experienced and qualified Controls Engineer.
Experience with PLC's and SCADA would be ideal.
Ideally you will have exposure to Waste from energy, Power or heavy industrial environment.
Degree/ HND level qualification required
A COMPEX qualification an advantage.
