Job Title: Mechanical Workshop Assistant
Salary: £20-23k DOE
Location: Burgess Hill Outskirts - own transport essential
Duration: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm

We are delighted to be working with our established client in their search for a Mechanical Workshop Assistant to join their friendly and dynamic team. You will be working for a company that prides themselves on high standards of quality and performance, which has allowed then to grow in a competitive and diverse marketplace within the aircraft maintenance sector.
The ideal candidate will have a hands-on and can-do attitude. No one day is the same and this position require someone who can multitask and prioritise their workload. You will be carrying out a variety of functions (sometimes physically demanding) to ensure production targets are met whilst recognising and reacting to the company needs with meticulous attention to detail.
My client is looking for someone with strong Mechanical experience which could have been gained as a Car/Bike/Aircraft Mechanic or within similar industries.
The Role
Disassembling aircraft parts
Cleaning and sandblasting part components
Reassembling aircraft parts
Reading manuals, following instructions and following technical drawings
Using a variety of hand tools and machinery
The Person
Hardworking and dedicated to your work
Able to follow instructions to the letter
Able to work as part of a team
Previous use of hand tools
Mechanical experience
Previous experience in a workshop / production environment (highly desired)
