Software Developer - Business Systems

We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our Business Systems team based in Cheltenham.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining In House Software Solutions using Visual Studio, initially VB, but migrating to C# to integrate core business systems (ERP "IFS", PLM "Team Centre" and Intranet "Sharepoint") and also support associated 3rd party applications.
Business Systems is a multi-disciplined Team of Business Process Analysts, Business Information Developers and System Architects working together as a team ensuring the core business systems are maintained and improved to support the needs of a multi-site production environment.
The role of a Software developer is to provide the technical development resource to support improvement initiatives identified by the business. Business Systems works closely with the Information Systems Team to ensure Business System Infrastructure is compliant with Ultra's IT and Security Infrastructure
Visual Studio Development and Support of existing bespoke application using VB with ability to upgrade to C#
Intranet administration and moderate development for Content management, Workflow, App development and migration
Development of enhancements to ERP and PLM systems using in built tool sets - in house training to be provided although knowledge of IFS and/or Teamcenter would be beneficial
Deployment and technical support of associated 3rd party applications - in house training to be provided
Liaison with Business System Team to advise and deliver the software solutions required for the improvements identified.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
2 years practical experience of Visual Studio VB/C#
Office 365 Development including SharePoint
Software Source Control and Life Cycle Management
Practical awareness of Windows Server Administration
Software Systems Degree or equivalent
Ability to Learn administration of in house systems
