With a product portfolio range including the automotive industry, Trade industrial ( painting and decorating etc) and adhesives lubricants in engineering and manufacturing,

The Role:

We are offering an excellent opportunity for a Product Manager to continue to develop a commercial career in product management. Reporting directly to the Supplier & Inventory Manager with responsibility for the Automotive sector, working proactively with existing and new suppliers to develop and maintain a strong product portfolio whilst managing costs to maximize profit.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

+ Continuously monitor market share by mapping suppliers and competitors activity
+ Negotiate supplier conditions including purchase price, delivery, payment terms and other relevant environments.
+ Drive structural gross profit growth
+ Price Management – drive tactical pricing and communication with sales
+ Manage opportunity pipeline and maintain for all key supplier projects whilst ensuring key products and suppliers are clearly managed and targeted.
+ Ensure correct product documentation
+ Drive Inbound Supplier service performance improvements.
+ Optimize Working Capital

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a sales or commercial role and/or an automotive background. It is essential that you are self-motivated, focused, and flexible, organized, a strong communicator and possess excellent IT skills. The successful candidate will have proven commercial judgment, attention to detail, and be able to work alone when required. You should strive for excellence in customer service and in the accuracy of information.
