An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Campaigns Officer (maternity cover) within our Central Campaigns Team.

The Marketing and Communications Directorate offers full-service marketing and communications support to the university, comprising reputation management; brand development and oversight; recruitment campaigns; CRM and conversion campaigns; schools and colleges engagement; enquiry management and follow up; internal communications; media relations; design and publications development; Faculty marketing and recruitment; web and digital development; and market insight.
The post is for 12 months maternity cover, or until the return of the post holder, whichever is soonest.
Your skills will be invaluable in supporting the development and management of institution-wide marketing campaigns in order to meet recruitment targets for both domestic and international markets.
You will be supporting a broad range of marketing projects, and should have a notable strength and demonstrable success within digital marketing campaigns and media; such as, paid search engine marketing and paid social media, as well as reporting on and understanding metrics using a variety of analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
You will liaise with a range of external suppliers as well as in-house teams to produce high quality marketing content and campaigns; including production and copywriting of print and online materials, the development of key webpages, writing briefs and co-ordinating video content, and managing national on/offline media campaigns.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will be an excellent communicator with strong project management skills, have a flexible and pro-active approach with the ability to multi-task and enjoy working as part of a busy and enthusiastic team. Previous experience of working in a marketing role and a passion for innovation and creativity is essential.
