Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Weduc brings the latest communication technology into the education market. With our recent expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic technical 3rd line support engineer with software testing skills, ideally with experience in the education sector. Come join our growing technology company to support the launch of our SaaS mobile and web-based applications and test product releases. We welcome applications from existing Software Testers, Education IT Administrators, Network Managers, IT Professionals.

Role Responsibilities

As a quality assurance engineer, act as primary point of contact between support and development

Responsible for product testing
Communicate with customers in a 3rd line capacity to replicate technical problems

Rapidly build rapport between support and development.
Build, configure, test and deploy platforms
Data cleanse & migrate customers to new setups
Provide internal training on new features alongside the Product Manager
In conduction with the support and development teams deliver projects and maintain quality control

Skills & Experience required

Minimum of 2 years' experience of information technology ideally within education

Desirable experience with educational products (FireFly, SchoolComms, Teachers 2 Parents, Parent Pay or similar)

Desirable experience with SIMS or other School MIS products (Management Information Systems)

QA Software testing experience testing solution manually or with scripts
Familiarity with Windows, Apple IOS and Android
Can-do attitude, able to think outside the box, multitask and prioritise
Analytical way of thinking with attention to detail
Project experience within an agile environment
Stakeholder management
Dedication to customer success
