3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT (POSSIBILITY OF BEING EXTENDED)
PENSIONS ACCOUNTING MANAGER MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead on the alignment of pension fund accounting and financial management processes. Provide day to day management and professional supervision to a team of 3 people to ensure operational plans and activities are delivered effectively. Apply professional judgement to interpret and apply policies and procedures to meet specific service needs. Ensure that all pensions systems, procedures, controls and checks are regularly reviewed and updated as necessary Produce detailed budgets and workplans for the Pensions function
THE PENSIONS ACCOUNTING MANAGER MUST HAVE:
Experience of managing a team of at least 3 people An accountancy qualification Extensive Pension experience Be familiar with Ledger systems Experience of accounts to trial balance Ability to produce a clean audit & deal with audit queries Experience of producing annual reports & handling associated queries
