SEN Teaching Assistant

ASAP Start - One year contract

Do you have experience in supporting SEN pupils? Are you looking for a full time opportunity at a lovely school in Dagenham?

An inclusive mainstream secondary school in Dagenham are looking for a bright, patient SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 in classes supporting students with the return to school life within KS3 and 4. The school would ideally like someone with an understanding or experience within SEN. The position is to begin ASAP and requires a minimum of a Level3 qualification and ideally a degree. The school has parking and is easily accessible via public transport.

This position is full-time, for the entire academic year. You will be working with other students in the class, however most of your focus will be on supporting these students.

Summary

1:1 and group support - In and out of the classroom
Working alongside a range of professionals and SENCO
ASAP Start- Long-term & full time
£70 - £85 per day
Located in the Borough of Barking and DagenhamThe ideal candidate should have previous SEN experience on either a working or personal level would be desirable, however it is not essential. You must be willing to learn and undertake various responsibilities within the classroom and outside.
