Monday - Thursday 07.30am - 16.15pm, and 07.30am - 12.00pm on Friday
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a global client of ours who are an exciting and large engineering organisation.
Coordinate and manage all purchasing activities on site, including PO administration, KPI monitoring and reporting, contract negotiation, identification of new suppliers and identification of cost saving opportunities
Achieve the best total cost position for all external spend, the lowest sourcing risks, best supplier performances, ensuring highest efficiency of the business.
Assist with the operational delivery of the Procurement objectives to support the businessBuyer
Extensive experience working within a similar role. Must have both administration and strategic purchasing experience
Experience working for a manufacturing/engineering organisation
Approachable, with strong interpersonal skills & a collaborative approach to resolving issues
Sound analytical abilities with a strong attention to detailBuyer
CIPS qualified or equivalent
