We currently have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Setter/Operator to work with an Engineering client who are looking to increase their machine shop team.
The role will require a candidate with CNC Setting and Operating experience and some Programming (although programming is not necessarily essential). Ideally with an Engineering based background and the ability to operate 3 axis Bridport and Hurco machines. Candidates will need to be flexible and be able to work across multiple shifts when required excluding night shift.
Responsibilities will include setting and operating CNC machines, organizing the days workloads and potentially overseeing apprentices to ensure that the workload in the machine shop follows a schedule. Inspection of finished machine work before sign off and ensuring that Health and safety policies are adhered to at all times.
This role is 39hrs per week and Temporary-Permanent for the right person
