Job Details

Elevation Recruitment Group Business Support are working with a key client within the Public Sector who are looking to bring on board a Test Manager. This position is a fix term contract for 4 Months.

The successful candidate will have experience in the coordinating, planning and deployment of a test program for corporate workstreams as well as monitoring and reporting on its progress.

Key Responsibilities:
*Produce test scripts to support and advise the process owners, enabling effective testing of the corporate system
* Collaborating relationships with key business process owners to understand business requirements and coordinate testing.
*Work with external consultants, systems integrators, and project managers, coordinating their time to ensure the data testing strategy is delivered.
*Coordinate the process owners and testing teams to achieve the test strategy Produce test plans to support the strategy.
* Develop the test strategy for the corporate system, that fits the organisational requirements and design documentation. Design and deliver test documentation to support the strategy.
*Organise integration systems testing and user acceptance testing, testers and environments in line with the test strategy to prove system functionality is working as per the design and enable sign of the system and completion of project.
*Manage the testing, reporting results and defects process.
*Manage risks, issues, and dependencies through communication and recommendations for mitigation.
*Continuously look for improvements within the working processes, feeding into the project manager to reduce risk and ensure value for money.
*Ensure traceability of testing from initial requirements to ensure that we have delivered the initial requirements and support the system sign off and change management processes
*Deliver regular testing status updates to the Project Manager, supporting communication to the business and executive lead team

Key Skills:
*Experience of defining and implementing the data testing strategy in project environments
*Experience in managing Integration Systems Testing and User Acceptance Testing
*Experience in creating and implementing clear and concise test plans
*Data Protection and GDPR awareness would be an advantage
