Now Education is currently working closely with a small but growing special school in the heart of the midlands that is looking to secure a new addition to their teaching team.
Due to expansion across the school and rapid growth the school have a fantastic opportunity to join their established team, to teach across the curriculum and engage KS3 learners. Students that attend the school may have experienced trauma or had long periods out of education and the school want to create a welcoming and secure environment for students to attend, learn and achieve.
There is a huge focus on creating an environment where students can develop their whole self as well as gain an education. Learners that attend the school may present challenging behaviours and may also be working at a lower level due to missing periods of their education. The ability to differentiate is key here.
An ideal candidate would have experience dealing with challenging behaviours, shows skills to engage and develop relationships with hard to reach young people. While experience in this field may be a benefit we are happy to accept applications from both Primary and/ or Secondary mainstream teachers as the ability to engage and create working relationships with the students surpasses experience.
Students that attend may come with additional learning needs, so experience or an understanding of Autism may be an advantage..
