SEND Teacher - Bedford
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a SEND Teacher to join our supply teaching team and to work in a local SEND school in the Bedford. You will be working with a large variety of schools across the area and have roles to suit your individual needs and availability.
The desired SEND Teacher will be working in a variety of schools from small, mixed aged village primary schools to large city centre academies, all of which have a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers with a passion for working with children with special needs.
Vision for Education work exclusively with the TES, the Times Educational Supplement - the biggest name in education in the world - supporting schools with their supply staff. We work with schools across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes and are keen to understand what is important to you, so we can find you that dream job come next term.
Because of the current situation regarding the Coronavirus, some UK schools may experience an unprecedented challenge with their tried and tested methods of recruitment, and we are in talks with Headteachers of SEND schools across the area, supporting them for any additional challenges they may face when schools do return later this academic year.
To be considered for the SEND Teacher position, you will:
- Have QTS and have experience of working as a Teacher.
- Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- Ideally, have experience working with SEND children
