Job Details
My client is a leading manufacturing company who have a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer based in North Yorkshire. You will be responsible for ensuring maximum efficiency of all production equipment and associated equipment including responding to reactive breakdowns and carry out preventative planned maintenance (PPM) schedules.
Duties Include;
* Repair and maintain a wide variety of injection moulding machines, ancillary equipment and site services
* Familiar with 6 axis robotics ABB/Fanuc
* Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance
* Liaising with contractors
* Ensuring that work conducted in line with process and procedures and the H&S policy
* Accountability for ensuring maintenance procedures are adhered
* Ensuring all production breakdowns and changes of ancillary equipment are dealt with in a timely manner
* Attend any training as and when required
Essential requirements;
* Experienced, time-served Maintenance Engineer with a minimum level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
* Industry experience within high-volume production environment
* High standards of workmanship
* A flexible approach to working patterns in a 24/7 operation
* Ability to prioritise and manage own workload independently
Desirable;
* Experience of injection moulding would be an advantage although not essential
Successful candidates must have access to their own transport due to the remote location
