HRGO are recruiting for an Assistant Technical Manager for a Manufacturing client based in Ashford. Working Monday to Friday with the potential of weekend work too.
Salary: £30,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum
You will be:
Managing customer specifications for retailers and internal product standards
Providing support to the technical manager
Producing technical reports for the business
Assisting Technical Manager on various technical and NPD projects.
The ideal candidate:
Has experience working within food manufacturing technical function
Food safety & HACCP
Experience in a technical customer-facing role (UK retail facing is must).
UK retailer's specification writing for several main UK retailers
Project management skills
Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively across all levels internally and externally.
Flexible approach to work.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Adaptability to the changing demands of the customer.
Experience in preparing technical reports, working knowledge of NPD critical path, involved in UK retailer's and 3rd party audits.
Minimum 2 years' experience in UK retail facing technical role.
Willingness to learn and go extra mile
