This position will be working from home for the foreseeable future, but if our client return to the office, you must be able to commute to Oldham.
Deliver effective and efficient rent and service charge accounting services within the wider team.
Review social, shared owner and fair rents in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, liaising with operational teams as required.
Deliver accurate and timely service charge estimates and statement of accounts for all service charges, liaising with operational teams as required.
Monitor actual performance of service charges against estimates, analysing variances and taking corrective action, escalating issues as appropriate.
Contribute to the development and delivery of plans and timetables that ensure service is delivered effectively.
Undertake reconciliations where appropriate and address issues that arise.
Deliver the effective delivery of leasehold accountancy reviews and audits and resolve all queries effectively and within required timescales.
Must have previous Rent + Service Charge experience and have strong knowledge around this.
Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience of month end processes.
Experience of working in the social housing sector
Experience of rent and service charge applications and systems.
Knowledge of rent and service charge regulation and legislation.
