Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced and passionate teaching assistant, to working within a Burnley primary school (BB10). The position is to start from December 2020 and run until July 2021, with the opportunity to secure a longer term/permanent contract. The role will require the successful candidate to provide support for a 'challenging' Year 3 class, working closely with children with Behavioural Difficulties. The role is being funded by the schools supply budget plus the schools catch up funding.
The Head Teacher is keen to see candidates who are passionate about working within education and have a calm and nurturing personality. It is essential that candidates are able to work within a challenging environment and can confidently support pupils with complex and additional needs including social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Staff within school are described as friendly, happy and extremely hard working. Experience working within KS2 and excellent classroom-based references within the last twelve months are essential for this role.
