Finance manager to join an exciting and diverse company
Client Details
Family owned rural estate
Description
Main tasks will include:
Logging, maintaining, posting and filing of invoices
Payment processing
Investigating purchase and sales ledger queries
Preparing intercompany, supplier and management recharges
Liaising with suppliers, customers and other departments
Processing personal and company expenses
Assisting other departments and performing ad-hoc office duties
Reconciling bank accounts (including e-commerce and credit card payments)
Preparing cash flow forecasts
Pro-actively managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
Posting, monitoring and reporting on timesheets
Payroll processing including RTI and pension reporting
Production of year end accounts and management accounts for review
Stock reconciliation
Preparation of VAT calculations and submission of VAT returns
Manage insurance policies renewals and any claimsProfile
This is a hands-on role and will require the successful candidate to be knowledgeable in all areas of accountancy from a basic book-keeping level through to cost centre accounting and effective cash management.
Preferably, applicants should:
Be impeccably accurate
Possess a good working knowledge of QuickBooks
Have strong attention to detail
Possess a relevant accountancy qualification or training necessary to perform this role unsupervised
Have previous experience in a similar role or in a similar industryJob Offer
