An established multisite food manufacturing business which produces a broad range of leading branded and label products is looking for an experienced NPD Account Manager to join them on a 6-month contract, managing a number of their key retail and foodservice accounts.
They have a strong reputation for the quality and variety of their products, they are looking for somebody with strong account management and project management skills who can help them increase market share and meet the demands of their customers.
As an NPD Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Working as part of a large food development team and taking responsibility for managing the development of new and existing products and leading the relationship with several key customers.
Managing multiple projects, leading cross-functional teams in NPD and Process to ensure critical paths are followed and products are launched on time, within budget and to the correct specifications.
Working with the commercial team to develop the category and work closely with customers to develop new, innovative products.
We are looking for an experienced NPD Account Manager who has the following skills and experience:
Ideally educated to HND or Degree level in Food Science (or similar) with a real passion for food and prior experience of working in a Senior NPD Technologist or Account Manager position.
Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, with demonstrable experience of working with major retailers and developing accounts.
Sound project management experience, able to lead multiple ongoing projects and lead and engage with colleagues at all levels.
