About the role
They are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join them on a permanent basis. This is a key role within the organisation, helping to contribute to the strategic objectives of the business, in particular their Strong Financial Position target.
The key elements of this role will be to provide a high-quality business partnering service to support in all aspects of budgeting, financial performance reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, Month End tasks and forecasting, management accounts planning and analysis, and value for money.
The role will make a significant impact on the Finance team's ability to deliver a good service advising Budget Holders and ensuring the company remains in a strong financial position.
There will be a requirement for the Finance Business Partner to be the team's expert on either Rents or Service Charges. In addition, there will be opportunities for Project work.
What they are looking for
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience.
* A relevant qualification or experience in a finance business partnering role.
* Substantial experience of engaging with management to support and influence decision making.
* Experience of managing and motivating teams to deliver objectives and targets.
* Experience of financial and budget management, managing and developing finance services.
* An advance level of Microsoft Excel skills
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of finance including legal, regulatory and operational issues.
* Experience of setting up processes and embedding them into an organisation
