The Head of Sales Role:
We are currently hiring a Head of Sales to create and build on a sales strategy that achieves the company business plan and required profitability whilst ensuring that our customer service is outstanding. Reporting to the Managing Director direct reports will include Account Managers, a Marketing Manager, Office Manager and Internal sales team.
Key Responsibilities include:
+ Accurately forecast sales revenues and manage the functional business pipeline through monthly reviews and field visits
+ Personally identify and convert new commercially viable opportunities and effectively manage existing customer group
+ Grow a sales team and nurture consultative sellers to close deals at the highest ratio possible
+ Mentor, motivate and lead a high performing and growing sales/business development team
+ Identify clients' needs whilst demonstrating an excellent level of service through good product knowledge
+ Design, build and execute an effective pipeline to drive new business to meet monthly targets
+ Through the Marketing Manager be responsible for producing comprehensive marketing material including the bi-annual catalogue, Be Inspired, annual specials offers and other relevant publications
+ Manage social media through our website, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to maximise our positioning and followers
+ Ensure that payments for sales are in line with company targets and are managed so our debt profile is minimised
+ To achieve monthly and annual sales and profit targets.
+ Ensure the complete team meets their targets
+ Generate a specified target for new business
Skills and Qualifications :
+ A proven track record of successfully increasing market share and probability in a previous role
+ A track record in a fast-moving SME
+ Previous leadership experience
+ A proactive sales leader, that will be able to develop and implement a sales strategy
+ The ability to build relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders
+ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, but also as part of a team
+ Driven, determined and ambitious
