Behaviour Unit Teacher

We are recruiting for a Behaviour Unit Teacjher on behalf of a Behaviour Unit within a mainstream school. This role is to commence ASAP until at least the Christmas break. The unit supports pupils with extremely challenging behaviour and complex SEMH needs. The position will involve working primarily in small groups with secondary aged pupils but you may be requied to take a larger class from time to time. The candidate will need to be confident in managing challenging behaviour as well as being enthusiastic and a positive role model for the students and helping them to engage with their work! You will play a large role in the monitoring of students progress and development both in terms of their academic and personal achievements. Ideally for this role, you will have experience with challenging behaviour and will be confident managing this.

QTS is a requirement for this role and we would welcome applications from anyone with experience of working with very challenging behaviour
