Offering a friendly team environment my client is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to play an active part in the accounts process for the business as a whole. Main duties and responsibilities will consist of the following;

Assist with month end accounts preparation and reconciliations
Journal entries, production of reporting pack
VAT returns
Assist in ledger reconciliations including balance sheet accounts and resolving balance differences
Support continuous process improvement and controls within the team
Support process around quality control of invoice rejection from operational system
Assistant with end of year accounts process
This role offers a good all-round variety of tasks that would satisfy the professional looking for a good balance in their future role and one that would give a different angle to the position for the long term future.

Team work is essential as my client is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant who is seeking longevity in their career and would like to be part of a solid team. Experience and mindset is more important than qualification with this business, however AAT or equivalent would be an advantage.
