Job Details

You'll work closely with the Buyer / Category Manager, you will sourcing merchandise, reviewing existing items, maximising profits and providing commercially viable ranges to be sold.

One of the fastest growing online retailers in the UK. The business who are based in the West Yorkshire area are growing at an extremely fast rate and looking to grow their buying & merchandising functions.

If you are a junior/assistant buyer looking for a role with hands on category experience where you will be able to make an impact, then this is the role for you.

  • Supporting the delivery of sales, margin and profit targets
  • Range planning processes including strategies, controls, selection and finalisation
  • Liaising brands ,suppliers, wholesales & other stakeholders
  • Help find new sources of stock for your category
  • Taking part in managing suppliers including obtaining quotes and samples
  • Creating and maintaining buying plans
  • Producing content briefs ensuring accurate product date, descriptions and copy

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Great team-working, interpersonal and communications skills.
  • A close attention to detail and the ability to react swiftly to changes.
  • Ideal candidates will have around 2 plus years' experience a retail general merchandising buying role.
  • Ideally experience in Product Selection buying or working with licenses etc.

Job Offer

£25K- £30K + Flexible working +Free Parking + Close
