What's the company like?

They're a Scottish Data Analytics business who offer extensive flexible working as they take over the US and European markets to ensure Data Protection is adhered to. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the Global Healthcare industry offering a solution that is totally unique in their field.

Due to this, they are ramping up their operation and are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the implementation of a number of software tools.

They are going through an immense period of growth and are looking for your help to help with the essential maintenance of the product and to help drive CI/CD principles during the rollout of new software.

What will I be doing?

The company are nearing the release of a number of brand-new software platforms and you will help to enable speedy software releases whilst playing a key part in the automation of these processes.

You will need to be interested in understanding and developing the inner workings of the platform, the way in which the data is used and understand the importance of data protection.

What will I need?

** Understanding of the importance of CI/CD within DevOps methodology
** Knowledge of Python / SQL / Java / YAML
** Knowledge of Big Data / Apache Spark would be a big plus
** Automation Tools: Chef / Puppet / Ansible
** Experience with Docker / Kubernetes and Terraform

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background in DevOps Engineering with the ability to communicate with users across all levels of the business - You will be joining a progressive organisation with an incredibly flat structure so the ability to work autonomously is key.

You'll get the opportunity to work within a highly technical environment with global financial backing. With a starting salary of around £55,000 - £60,000 per year with room for negotiation.

There are no other companies currently offering these services in Healthcare at the moment so to say that they are at the forefront would be an understatement!

The role is fully remote but some travel to their offices in the Scottish Borders may be required (when it's safe to do so).

What should I do now?
