Are you an individual who would love to make a difference to the lives and education of students with moderate, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties? Are you enthusiastic, energetic and flexible? As a member of our Learning Support Department your role would be to support these students within the Academy's Unit Provision. Duties will involve academic support, personal development and personal care including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, administration of medication and manual handling. Training will be provided so prior experience is not essential.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be able to show initiative and will have the capacity to work with others to raise achievement through motivating and inspiring students across the curriculum. Driving the mini bus for offsite visits would be desirable. MIDAS training would be provided.
We actively encourage students to participate in all areas of academy life, motivating and inspiring them to unlock their potential and realise their ambitions. Staff have an uncompromising commitment to this and work closely with one another to support and develop students as well as one another.
If you think you can contribute to our organisation we welcome your application. Applicants are required to complete an application form as CVs will not be accepted.
