Job Details

The Company: I am currently working on behalf of an established IFA firm based in the Stocksbridge area of North Sheffield who are looking to add a Financial Planning Administrator who holds Intelligent Office system experience and is keen to take on marketing and client communications responsibilities alongside their adviser support remit. My client provides specialist independent financial advice to HNW private wealth focused clientele, with this hire assisting with adviser support as well new business development and current business marketing strategies.

The Role: You will support advisers and paraplanners ensuring the efficient production of client review packs, processing of new business and manages all activity relating to the marketing and communication campaigns for the company. Further duties include:
  • Providing professional customer service to new and existing clients via telephone, email and face to face when required
  • Using financial planning software to create, record and update client records and ensuring these are kept up to date including GDPR
  • Communicating and liaising effectively with external product providers as and when required, to obtain policy specific information
  • Preparing client valuations, application forms and meeting documentation for annual reviews
  • Processing of any meeting follow up work including fund switches, withdrawals
  • Handling all aspects of social media, company website updates, assisting with the content and ensuring this is fit for purpose
  • Manage marketing strategies and campaigns for existing and prospective clients
  • Assist with event planning and communication projects

The Person: The successful candidate will ideally come from an IFA/wealth management background and alongside an adviser support skillset hold some market and promotion experience within a financial services industry setting. Exposure to servicing investments & pensions workload is essential, with an openness to get involved with the company's current marketing strategies, mail merge campaigns and assist the expansion of their brand presence online. Intelligent Office system experience is also highly desirable, but not essential.
