I am currently working on behalf of The Education Network in looking to recruit an enthusiastic teaching assistant to be put forward for a host of long term roles within the South Tyneside area.
We work with several schools across the area that use ourselves exclusively to manage their staffing needs. We have built up great relationships with our partnership schools over many years and as a result we have successfully placed many people in fantastic roles on a short, long term and permanent basis.
The two long term roles we are currently looking to fill are both on along term basis (6 months +). One is working as a teaching assistant in Nursery and the other would be supporting in Reception.
To be considered for any role we require that people meet the following minimum standards:
-Qualified to a minimum of level 3 in Supporting education and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
-Have zero criminal convictions and if not in possession already be willing to apply for a DBS (Disclosure and Barring service) Certificate.
- Have enthusiasm for learning and supporting teachers and pupils in school
- You must have recent experience of working in a classroom environment (voluntary is acceptable)
As a company we don't target ourselves on the number of people we interview, we focus on getting
the right person for the right role and firmly believe the key to success is an open honest relationship where both sides feel comfortable in disclosing what they would like.
Posts are subject to DBS and references. Education Network is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Due to a high number of applications at this time of year, if you do not hear from us within 4 days it will mean that you have not been successful
