Accounts Clerk - Farnworth £20,000 per annum

Our client is a well established Manufacturing company having been based in Farnworth for over 50 years! - there is a small friendly accounts team - headed by the Finance Director. Due to succession planning they are looking for an Accounts Clerk to join their team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, duties will involve:
Inputting purchase invoices accurately into the accounts system, monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts, handling supplier queries, entering invoice details onto a spreadsheet, maintaining filing records of purchase orders etc.
Sending invoices out for approval and chasing the same. Preparation of the weekly payroll ready for submission to the bureau. input and reconciliation of timesheets, payroll control account reconciliations. Other duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone ideally studying towards their AAT and looking for progression. You need to have recent accounts experience within an office.
What you'll get in return
upto £20,000 per annum. half day finish on a Friday. Pension. Interesting and varied role, free parking.
