Legal Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000
Contract: Full Time, Permanent


CRA Legal are representing a leading law firm across South Yorkshire. Our client is a reputable brand who offer a diverse range of business and personal legal services. As a result of increasing workload in the commercial property department, the established law firm are looking for a professional with previous experience in commercial property to work closely with a commercial property partner and a team of solicitors.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Opening new files and supporting with initial client relationship management
  • Case support, working closely with a senior partner and a team of solicitors
  • Managing administrative duties within a busy department
  • Carrying out searches
  • Managing legal documentation
  • Using the land registry portal
  • Supporting with completion matters
  • Dealing with post completion matters including stamp duty
  • Supporting with billing, statements and invoices with support and supervision


Required Attributes:
  • Previous experience working in commercial property law
  • Familiarity with the land registry process
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Packages - Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Excellent client care skills
