Project Manager - Hampshire - £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

A growing engineering organisation is seeking to employ a Project Manager to join their Hampshire based, technically complex engineering environment, on a permanent basis.

Working within a high complexity, low volume environment, the successful Project Manager will be responsible for applying a structured and disciplined approach to Project Management, ensuring that the expectations of the external and internal stakeholders are addressed, value and benefits from delivered projects are realised, and the business objectives of the Company are met.

Other responsibilities include; providing Leadership of assigned bid activities or preparation of detailed, structured cost/price estimates, preparing and maintaining Project Management Plans, schedules, PBS, WBS for assigned projects and support continued development of process and practice, and positively manage team and vendors to ensure adherence to cost, time, quality constraints within agreed tolerance.

In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have proven project management experience, gained within a relevant technical engineering environment. It would be advantageous to hold a Degree level education within a STEM discipline, as it would be to have attained a Prince 2 qualification. Experience in bid/proposal production, or financial accounting for project management would also be advantageous.

This opportunity is based in Hampshrie and is commutable from Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham, Winchester, Bournemouth, Poole and other locations within the Hampshire and Dorset regions.
