Interaction Accountancy and Finance are working with a reputable accountancy practice in their search for an Accounts Technician to join their team initially on a remote working basis, but eventually to be based from their offices North of Huntingdon.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for accounts preparation and tax for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Duties include:
  • Processing client accounts to draft accounts stage
  • Produce draft VAT returns and submitting to HMRC when completed
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns
  • Self assessment tax returns, including capital gains tax computations
  • Other adhoc duties as required to support the senior members of the team

Successful candidates, must have the following skills and experience:
  • Working towards achieving the AAT qualification (ideally at Level 3 or above)
  • Minimum of two years experience within an accounts environment - preferably within an accountancy practice environment
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • IT Literate, ideally with prior experience of Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
