Simply Education are urgently recruiting Cover supervisors to work in a range of North & South Manchester high schools. We work closely with several secondary schools across the region and have been inundated with requests from schools for staff to start after the half term break. You must have previous experience within the classroom.
If you are an aspiring teacher this could be a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience within schools whilst fine tuning your classroom and behaviour management skills. This is also an opportunity for teachers who enjoy working with young people but want to step away from the responsibility of planning lessons.
The role of a cover supervisor entails;
Ensuring all pupils are engaged in learning and on task during the teachers pre-set tasks
Inclusion of the schools behaviour and discipline policy to minimise any lesson disruption
Good understanding of behaviour management strategies
Having a good understanding of the National Curriculum to answer any questions pupils may have
Excellent communication and lesson delivery skills;
A hard work ethic
The benefits of working as a cover supervisor via Simply Education include opportunities for continuous professional development, and continuous support from a successful team of teachers.
If you hold the above traits and are keen to further your career, then get in touch and see what options there are for you.
In return you will receive:
Your own dedicated consultant
A variety of daily, long term positions & permanent posts to suit your needs
Competitive rates of pay or paid to scale if a contract is offered
24/7 access to your dedicated consultant via phone
Minimal administration (no time sheets)
