Teacher of Psychology - Shropshire school

Are you a committed and dedicated Psychology Teacher? Are you looking for a new challenge in a supportive and progressive school?

A Shropshire based secondary school is looking to recruit a qualified Psychology Teacher to enrich the learning and development of their KS5 students. The school is looking for a Psychology Teacher who can create engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skills. The role also requires the successful teacher to teach Citizenship and PSHE to KS4 students and PSHE and R.E. to KS3.

The position is full-time for the first term and will include planning and assessment, under the guidance of the Head of Department. There is also the potential for a permanent contract.

The ideal staff would need to have had the following:

Experience in teaching Psychology to KS5
Experience in teaching PSHE and R.E. from KS3 to KS4
Over 2 years' experience in working in a mainstream environment
Ability to shape and develop a department
Management skills
