PART TIME PAYROLL & FINANCE ASSISTANT
TETBURY, GLOUCESTERSHIRE
We are pleased to support our Tetbury based client in finding a new member of their small., friendly accounts team. They require a flexible and enthusiastic individual to provide accounting support to the Finance Manager to enable accurate financial reporting, maintenance of accurate balance sheet control accounts, monthly payroll processing and compliance with HMRC statutory requirements. The role is to work 16-20 hours per week, spread over 3-5 days and may require additional hours to cover month/year end, holidays and to cover busy periods.
KEY TASKS
Payroll processing including year end returns
Preparation of P11D's
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Nominal ledger journal postings
Preparation of VAT returns
Maintenance of cash books
Preparation of analyses requests
You will be a pro-active team worker who can comfortably liaise and co-operate with fellow team members of staff. You will be able to work within the guidance and procedure requirements to provide confidential support.
I am keen to speak with professionals who can demonstrate a substantial background in performing the above key tasks, with an emphasis on payroll including RTI processing and on-line returns. Confident and fluent skills with MS Excel and effective communication skills. Accuracy is a must as well as attention to detail and an organised and methodical way of working.
