They have a fantastic reputation and have exceptional progression opportunities within the group, it is an exciting time to join the company as they have a growth period which is where this role comes into play.

They are looking to recruit for a dedicated Peripatetic manager to help oversee the running of their Services in Derbyshire and Leicestershire. They are also wanting this manager to support the Registered Managers, help with commissioning projects, help with CQC amongst the services as well as oversee homes when permanent managers are absent.

Peripatetic Manager Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the services meets all legal and statutory requirements including (but not limited to) those related to fire regulations, health and safety at work, licensing, trading standards, employment, Care Standards Act and relevant country legislation and that all appropriate statutory notices are displayed.
Communicate effectively with the Registered/Area Managers in relation to their services and what support is needed
Ensure that the relevant regulatory and commissioning bodies' standards are achieved and that all staff are trained to understand and operate at this level.
Lead the implementation of new services, drives referrals and assessments and share best practice with other sites and the wider team.
You will help to recruit and build your own staff team for the service.
This role will also be to manage a service in the managers absence.Peripatetic Manager Requirements:

It is essential to have experience in the learning disabilities / mental health sector, ideally you will have worked with challenging behaviours also.
You will have sound knowledge and experience of managing services for similar client groups and ideally educated to NVQ Level 4 with RMA or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
Experienced Registered Managers who have a proven track record of quality care from previous inspections alongside extensive social care leadership experience.
At least 2 year's experience Managing services and have led a CQC inspection with ideally 'Outstanding' or 'Good' outcome.Benefits:
