PK Education are recruiting positive and engaging General Cover Teachers for our schools in the South Yorkshire area. The role will start in October 2020 and be ongoing on a supply basis. The successful General Cover Teachers will have school experience and be confident in delivering and covering KS3 - KS4 lessons, as well as KS5 in some schools. A General Cover Teacher must be flexible, have outstanding time keeping skills and strong behaviour management skills. As a General Cover Teacher you will have a specialised subject, but will also have the confidence in delivering cross curriculum lessons. Qualified Teacher Status
Newly Qualified Teachers are encouraged to apply
Bachelor's degree in Education or PGCE
Strong subject knowledge and UK National Curriculum,
Strong communication skills, class management and proactive
GCSE English and Maths, grade C or higher or equivalent
Enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the Update service (or willing to apply for one - full guidance provided)
Your role:

To effectively deliver assigned lesson plans
To provide a high-quality education to the pupils in the absence of the usual Class Teacher
To undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties
