Account Manager
Our clients seek an Account Manager to work with their team. The Account Manager will manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of existing customers by effectively communicating both commercial and technical information, coordinating internal departments and correctly administering appropriate processes. Responsibility will be held for maintaining and growing allocated budget. In coming new business will be allocated within the team, responsibility will be taken to convert the enquiry and manage the client on-going.
Role responsibilities for the Account Manager:
1. Project manage customer briefs through the business
2. Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements, key contacts and how to support their business
3. Support the customer technically on new projects, with support from the Technical Manager
4. Obtain accurate information to ensure all project requirements can be fulfilled
5. Present information and solutions in an accurate, clear, and professional manner
6. Continuously look for methods to streamline workload
7. Work independently and as part of the Account Management team
8. Follow up on all RFQ's (request for quote) to receive feedback and maximise order placement
9. Understand the Company product offering and technologies
Requirements
1. Ideally educated to degree level
2. GCSE in English and Maths (grade C or above) or equivalent, strong numerical skills essential
3. An effective team player and able to work on own initiative
4. Commercial awareness
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English language essential)
6. Effective problem-solving skills
7. A pro-active and enthusiastic approach
8. Experience of MS Office, databases, and MIS systems (ideally CERM) required
9. Good project management skills
10. Excellent attention to detail
Competitive salary and benefits DOE
Free parking
Full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week
9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
