Your new role

Southend Borough Council is seeking to recruit a Business Analyst to join Operational, Performance and Intelligence Team on a full time and permanent basis. As a Business Analyst, you will take the lead on projects with Adult's Social Care, Children's Services and ICT to develop the case management system. The main purpose of this role is to help identify the needs of the business and work with stakeholders to address them, primarily through process changes or new functionality deployment within the case management system.

This role requires a wide range of skills, such as project management (including the creation of project documentation and delivery of smaller pieces of project work), the role acts as the bridge between the business and the ICT teams. The business analyst will also co-ordinate the upgrades to both Liquid Logic and ContrOCC with all stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, it is highly essential that you have previous experience of managing multiple projects from start to finish. You will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders across different levels, so it is essential that you are able to communicate (verbal and written) and listen effectively.

This role will suit a highly organised project manager with experience of working within Business Change in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Previous experience of working within either Adult's Social Care, Children's Services or with case management systems will be advantageous but not essential. Experience of using the LiquidLogic case management system will be highly advantageous.
